Invalid format of xml in API response when error is occured

When we post order to ERP with the same SerNo, we are getting following XML response.

where the message tag seems broken. so we are not able to parse the xml response and getting error while parsing. The core logic of parsing is we want to check whether order has successfully posted to ERP or not.
