Does anyone know if you can still use a web enabler in 8.4 i.e. if there is an issue with ports and internet enablers are not working, would we be able to give our customer a web enabler to take them out of restricted mode until they have managed to open the relevant ports to be able to use internet enablers. It would only be a short term fix.

From what country do your company operate?

If our customers are unable to receive internet enabler then they have the possibility to request a short term enabler (STE) in MyStandard.

To request a short term enabler, the customer can do this:
1. Go to mystandard.hansaworld.com and log in with Standard ID + password
2. Scroll down to "Contract info" and click on "Enablers"
3. Click on "Request Short Term Enabler"
Here, the customer can specify how many days they wish to use a short term enabler, they should also produce a reason for needing the enabler as well as show proof of payment by sending the latest payment of invoice to HW.

Many thanks. We are in the UK.

For version 8.4 some of our customers (schools) struggle to get the ports open they think they have but sometimes haven't. This is why we need a plan B for a few of them whilst they sort themselves out.

Hello!

The function of getting web enablers from hansaworld.com is discontinued from 2018-04-12. It was the old function of copy-pasting control code and control string to the web and getting the enabler by email. Supported feature for getting enablers is the automated internet enabler.

If a customer wants to use the product in offline mode (no internet in the server), they have to pay for it according to the price list.
