Deleting mailboxes

Customer has had a change of staff.

We created a new Person, and tried to create a new Mailbox - but there are no free licenses for a new mailbox.

We tried a number of methods for deleting old mailboxes. Note that there are NO mails in any mailbox, these mailboxes were only created because SERP requires them. When clicking the Properties button when viewing Mailboxes, nothing happens. SERP does not open the properties for any existing mailbox, so we can't delete the mailbox.

How can we proceed? If the new user logs in, we get a message that it's not possible for other users to log in.

Hi Stephen,

I hope all is well. The best way around this is to close the mailbox. This can be done by going to the Email and Conferences Module > Settings > Mailbox Browse, from here you can open the mailboxes that you are no longer use and mark them as 'Closed'.

If you are still struggling you can change these mailboxes to conferences. In the same location as the above, open the Mailbox you wish to change, change the 'Class' to Conference and remove the User Signature before saving.
