By Default the contact register under the CRM module shows all customers and suppliers for all the company.

The logged in user can change this appearance to just accounts linked to themselves by clicking the 'dot' button in the navigation bar. To revert to all company they hit the 'circle of dots button'.

Is their a way to set Hansa to default to the 'dot' button in the first instance as most users just want to see contacts associated to their login code rather than the entire company .

It would be expected that by clicking on the ‘dot’ button and then on window > save position, is the way to solve this, but that is not the case. We will report this as a wish.

You could try changing settings in System module > Persons register (user cards) from Limited Access to User Only, but then it will not be allowed to see contacts and documents created by other users.
