Service Engineer Booking

Morning.

When we invoice a service it often entails linking it to a number of onsite maintenance visits for that client, either from ourselves or from a purchase order we place on a partner. Is there some sort of service/maintenance option within Standard ERP which may do scheduling etc ?

At the moment we have to keep spread sheets of when maintenance visits are due but we would prefer this to be entered when setting the order up and appear in a task list of some sorts etc. This ensure we don't invoice something and forget to put it onto a spread sheet.

Many thanks
Nick

Hello Nick,

I suggest that you have a look at the Activity Types, Subsystems setting in the CRM module. It will allow you to automatically create activities when certain records are created, for example a sales invoice.

Kind regards,

Edwin
