I have discovered the same problem for 2 companies on
2 different computers.
Among others the following text appears with Alert signs:
DFSectorRead DiskPtr 2199023255040 is outside
logical file (ends at 8991744)
Caution. The database might be damaged. If you
have tried a normal backup and that failed, we
suggest you choose to create and save a raw data
export from the next dialoque box.
IniFind!Key failed
IniIndexStore failed
/Users/build/c85-2019-04-15-build/amain/
d4index.cpp.2134 assertion failed: FindIndexHead
failed
-----
I have tried to download a new programme and then
import the database text backup, but with no luck.
Now it says:
Alert. Incopatible version of database found. Can’t
proceed: exe 8530 db 8318.

Hello Anne,
Did you install the new version in a separate folder on the desktop or did you put it in the applications folder? If the latter, please try again and put it in a new folder on the desktop. Otherwise the database might conflict with your old installation.
The possible conflict is with the application folder if you're using MAC.
Before installing there, you should check no old versions are there, AND also delete Hansaworld folder (com.hansaworld.stacc.xxxx.xx )from containers if there is such.
To see containers you can follow this guide or google on " how to find containers in mac"
With either the desktop or a Finder window as the frontmost application, hold down the option key and select the Go menu.
The Library folder will be listed as one of the items in the Go menu.
Select Library and a Finder window will open showing the contents of the Library folder.
If you close the Library folder's Finder window, the folder will once again be hidden from view.
I would just advise to install fresh copy to desktop, and launch from there. Locate the TB.TXT of the previous installation (found in HDB).
Best regards,
Hansaworld support
