Shortcuts
2015-02-19
I have a user who can’t create a shortcut into the “Shortcuts” window. As she drags an item it doesn’t do anything e.g. no error message and shortcut does not appear.

I tried it on mine and it all works well, on that same note how does one remove unwanted shortcuts?

Kind regards
Dil

Hello,

Re: first question: please check if your colleague has got a mailbox, because it is required to have an active Personal Desktop.
There are two types of users in Enterprise:
* named, which must have a mailbox and then they will also have the Personal Desktop by default
* concurrent which do not have to have the mailbox
For the second type the mailbox must be purchased seperately if they should have the Personal Desktop feature available.

Re: second question: to remove objects from Personal Desktop, use either ‚-‚ sign in Personal Desktop header or key shortcut Shift+Ctrl(Cmd)+D.

Best regards,

Hello,

The first solution worked. Thank you. I added a mailbox and that seemed to resolve it.

The second, might be me not doing it correctly. Do I select the shortcut and press Shift+CTRL+D? When I do that I get a dialogue box which says "Delete Master Control".

Thank you.
