System crash when trying to add new item or customer

I have a new product to add to my system and new customers too. When I try to add either my system crashes. This means I cant run my business at present, how can I rectify it? I am using version 8.3 on Mac.

Sorry for the late response. However, I would need a few details from you to be able to help you out.

1. Firstly, I would suggest you to update to the latest version. You can do that from MyStandard portal (https://mystandard.hansaworld.com/loginpage), where you login with your StandardID (email address that the system asked to enter and you are logging in with)
2. Also, can you provide your company name?
3. Additionally, can you provide your customer code? You can find this by selecting "Marketplace" from the Navigation Centre, and then selecting "My Account". The customer code will be displayed as the first line of your account details.
