Attaching an email to the Customer Account

Dear Support,

Is there a way that when staff send an email out to a customer via Hansa, can that message be attached/linked to that customer account? e.g. for history use.

Dear Dil,

Yes - it is possible!
You are using for it the CRM module -> Settings -> Activity Types, subsystems setting.
There you would want to define that an activity with a certain type (e.g. MAIL) is being automatically created and is marked as done each time you send out an e-mail.

Thank you for your quick response.

Without having looked at the details yet, if that could be setup would we be able to look at the customer account and view the message or is it just a flag to say an email was sent?

Hello Dil,

You could see it in Customer Status report (need to set it up the Info in Customer Status Report).
If set up, you will see the following info regarding the activity:
date, type, person, contact, comment and the matrix text.
You can also click on the activity date to open the record on screen.
