I have 1 live server and 1 backup server. I am running Standard ERP 8.1 2015-12-15 on the live server. I have now copied the Standard ERP folder from the live server to the backup server and when I try to start hansa on the backup server, it gives me the error "Could not bind port 1200 and IP address x.x.x.x os error Unknown os Error 99". What is weird is that IP x.x.x.x is the IP address of the live not the backup but i am trying to start Hansa on the backup server. My OS is Centos 7

Hi,
Please make sure to change the port for the Test Server. Your Live Server and Test Server should not run on the same port, because the system will not be able to connect. That is why you receive the error message.

I hope this helps.

The live server is running on port 1203 and the backup server I am trying to run it on port 1200. What we need to solve first is that why is the server still seeing the IP address of the live server whilst I am trying to run this on a backup server with a different IP. Is there a config file where I can tell Hansa the IP address of the current server.

Hello,

It might be, that your live server's IP address is specified in the companies setting.
When you try to log in, and the system gives you the error message, it should then open the company list window.

Then you should highlight the company name>>open operations menu>>select "Open Companies Setting". There you can specify the IP and port of the company to which you are trying to connect. Next time the system by default will try to connect to the specified IP through the specified port.

Let us know if it helped.
