Re: Login Sessions

There are a number of different types of users on HansaWorld. The two main ones been Named and Concurrent.

A named users by definition can only log into a database once, and will take up one user slot.

A Named user can also be setup as a Global User, if you have multiple companies on your database. In this case, the global user can log into any company, and will still only take up one user slot.

A concurrent user can log into the database as many times as there are concurrent user slots available.

Each time a concurrent user logs in, a user slot will be taken up.

A concurrent user can also be setup as a global user, but if that user logs into multiple companies, each login will take up a user slot. So it is not advisable to use concurrent users as global users.
