Serial Number already registered

Hi,

While taking our inventory count we found that 4 Serialized items were physically found in the Location No.1, however in Hansa the inventory was "0" ( zero ) On checking the History of those 4 Serial numbers this is what was observed.

These items were Entered through a Purchase Order and Goods Receipt at the Warehouse Location. From the Warehouse Location these items was done Inventory Movement to Location No.1 and after that for the same 4 items a Inventory Adjustment is done " St.Depr."

Now when I try to enter these 4 items through a Goods Receipt I get a message pop up saying that " Serial Number already registered".

How can I enter these items in the system so that I can increase the count from "0"(zero) to 4 (four) units and then sell them.

Your help in this regard shall be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Raj.

Hello,

This is a known issue in our earlier versions and it has been fixed in our current release version (7.0).
At the moment the only workaround we can suggest is to add an additional number to the Serial number, when doing a Goods Receipt.
