Enterprise 6.3 2012-03-13 Crashing

We have the above system with 4 users.


The server is Windows 2012 R2 (virtualised on MS HyperV) clients are either Windows 7 Enterprise or Windows 10 Enterprise (physical PCs). All Microsoft updates are applied to all machines.

Since February this year we have been suffering from the system crashing, either the server service crashing or the client crashing.


We have checked the network and are not seeing any bottlenecks, client and server are of a resonable spec clients are core i5 @ 3GHz with 8Gb RAM and ample free disk space.

The server 4Gb RAM, 4 Processors @ 2.2GH again ample free disk space.

We have checked log files but they dont give anything away other than lines such as "2017-03-23 14:50:03 Last session was not properly terminated". Event Viewer both on the client and server isnt giving any clues.

I know this is an old version of HansWorld but as it is in poduction use we need to get is stable before we can look at moving to a newer product.

Hello Dave,

Enterprise 6.3 2012-03-13 is very old and this product is no longer supported by us. Please upgrade to Standard ERP which you can download from www.standardinstall.com.

Regarding the crash you can add a file parameters.txt with text --verbosity=debug and restart the server. This will give more information in the log about what is happening.

Please contact our local partners if more help is needed, it is possible that they can still provide support for older versions. You can find their contact information here:

Thanks for that, we are aware it is a piece of software that is long out of manufactor support.

We are working with one of the partners on you list but so far we have not found a solution to the problem.

Thanks for the info on the paramaters file, I will get that applied to server & clients.
